About the role: Reporting to the Purchasing and Planning Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the extended Lubricants leadership group and lead a team of 3 direct reports.
You will be responsible for developing and managing the Lubricants demand forecast by collaboratively engaging with the Sales and Marketing team.
Key responsibilities: Develop the monthly sales forecast and continuously refine the Lubricants 24-month forward demand plan.Active participation in the S&OP cycle meetings and lead the monthly Demand Review meetings.Monitor and provide reporting KPI's on forecast accuracy to allow all stakeholders to make changes as required to the plan.Central point of contact and responsible for Base Oil Management including forecasting, trouble shooting, optimisation of the supply chain and change management.Provide recommendations relating to Lubricant production/planning/inventory key master data inputs.Activity contribute to and participate in the Product Lifecycle Management process.Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement ideas and implementation.About you: You have proven skills and experience in a similar role in demand forecasting and planning.
You are a self-motivated professional with leadership capabilities and well-honed communication skills.
Your strong internal and external stakeholder management and relationship experience will help you thrive in this role.
You have a continuous improvement mindset with experience in APO and SAP systems.
Key skills and experience: Experience in Demand and Production Planning and Forecasting in a similar industry or FMCG is highly desirable.Proficient in SAP and APO is essential.Strong people leadership experience.Sound knowledge of lubricant supply chain and manufacturing is desirable.Strong negotiation, influencing skills and ability to lead change.Team-player and highly organised.Our total remuneration is competitive.
