What you'll do as a Linehaul Demand Planner: As a Linehaul Demand Planner , you will be responsible for outbound linehaul demands for Palletised Express at our Karawatha depot.
Primary duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Update carryover on the floor every morning Run DWR (destination weight report) in the afternoon and adjust demand accordingly Ensure necessary adjustments are made with the data points to align volume and linehaul capacity allocations.
Liaise with fleet room and adjust demand based on variance to DWR Review previous day booked pick-up volume vs actual pick-up volume and report back significant discrepancies Review pick-up bookings over 10t and consider alternative cost-effective LH arrangements Work closely with the account management team to improve customer accuracy Closely monitor customer collection times and work with the PUD team to improve the timing of freight arriving at the depot Pre-plan with the Karawatha Management team to ensure activity levels with volumes are appropriately managed (including peak planning) What are we looking for in a Linehaul Demand Planner?

Proven ability to problem solve with a solutions orientation Intermediate use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc.)
Ability to determine equipment to meet scheduled workloads Ability to recognise and control costs Ability to identify and remedy operational inefficiencies and service problems Hours – Monday to Friday, 10am – 7pm.
