About the Role Reporting to Head of Demand Planning in the UK, your remit will cover Australia, Japan, and South East Asia business.
You will own S&OP and demand planning activities for a range of Sales Areas, delivering a monthly robust Demand Plan & Outlook (volume/ value) and support/ lead developments and improvements to the Demand Planning process as part of the IBP process.
Responsibilities: Lead monthly demand planning process and deliver a robust Outlook in volume/ value: baseline and aggregate planning, analyse trends and provide integrated understanding: analytics inputs, assumptions, scenario planning, Opportunities & VulnerabilitiesFacilitate a valid achievable Demand Plan with bias removed within the area on behalf of the Area Sales Director, and align with key stakeholders in sales, portfolio and supplyOwn relevant KPIs and performance improvement action plan and also be able to support or drive Continuous Improvement across the demand planning process i.e.
system use, KPI management, tools development, cross-functional collaborationFully maintain and drive best use of demand planning system and reporting tools.
Lead Area Demand Reviews (prepare/ analyse/ challenge/ deliver action plan) - analyse large sets of data with sense of urgency and high accuracy, draw conclusions and deliver succinct key messages to enable decision makingDrive strong collaboration with varied stakeholders eg Sales, Commercial Finance, Market Development, Demand Control, Customer Service, Supply ChainSupport developing and improving the Demand Planning process as part of the IBP roll outAbout You Skills: Good understanding of Demand Planning processes, systems and reporting toolsStrong numerical/ analytical/ quantitative skills, demonstrated experience in working with large data sets and attention to detailAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, macros, v-lookups, graphs/ charts, reporting, formatting functions)Solid communication skills and ability to influence and manage stakeholders across functions and levelsAbility to make recommendations, challenge and drive decisionsKnowledge: Qualified to degree level in numerical field eg Business or Engineering, Economics or Supply Chain ManagementA professional qualification in related area is desirable or equivalent relevant industry experience Familiarity with S&OP/ IBP modelsExperience: Demonstrated experience in managing and running assumption-based Demand Planning processesSupport or lead Demand Planning improvements programsWhat next?
