About the company:
Our client is a leading food manufacturing organisation with regional headquarters based in rural Victoria. Due to continued growth in the area, an opportunity for a supply chain planning professional to lead their forecasting and supply/demand planning function has arisen.
About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Demand Planner is responsible for ensuring that inventory availability meets future customer demand while also participating in and employing S&OP and liaising with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Duties:
The generation of a rolling demand plan over a short-term horizon in a seasonal, highly promotional environment.
Ensuring inventory availability for a large and diverse customer base while keeping inventory holdings in line with broader company policy.
Maintaining inventory integrity across the network through cross-functional communication and thorough analysis.
Optimising stock turns while minimising existing slow-moving and obsolete lines.
Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated experience in a Demand Planner role in a fast-paced, complex planning environment.
Demand and supply planning experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Strong leadership skills with first-class communication and stakeholder management capability.
Advanced Excel Skills.
