Shark Ninja is expanding our APAC business and scaling it rapidly. Our two brands, Shark and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which ANZ plays a critical role. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Demand Planner to join our team. This role will be based in Sydney.
Position Overview: This role is accountable for the achievement of timely and accurate demand plans for all finished goods and accessories sold across Australia and New Zealand. The role will be accountable for preparing and conducting effective market S&OP's and participating in regional S&OP's.
The successful candidate will partner with our ANZ sales, marketing and operations stakeholders to drive sustained availability to the B2B and B2C channels. They will be motivated by a fast-paced high growth environment that requires agility and flexibility and adaptability to enable ongoing growth of the APAC regional businesses.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do: Develop a multi layered demand plan for B2B and DTC businesses on a current plus rolling 12 month horizon by brand, category and SKU.Work closely with account teams to develop demand plans at the account level for both baseline and promotional events, covering new and existing finished goods and accessories.Participate in customer joint business planning sessions as needed.Work with the DTC team to prepare a DTC demand plan overlay.Establish medium term planning cycles for Q4 activity, planogram resets and known events to enable reliable supply during these sales periods.Track forecast accuracy, contributions and trends providing root cause analysis for performance gaps and insights as to the implications of demand trends.Manage obsolete inventory and SKU transition.Conduct promotional effectiveness analysis.Analyse retailer stock on hand, out of stock and weeks cover trends.Experience: The ideal candidate should be an experienced Demand Planner looking for a challenging and fast paced role to hone their skills, capability and capacity to perfect the science of demand planning.Proven ability in partnering with and influencing cross functional internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.APICS or equivalent Demand Planning qualifications.Experience using Blueshift, New Horizons, Oracle Fusion preferred.Ability to solve complex problems in a short term, with an ability to evolve those initial solves into long term operational practice and a "Can do" attitude to solving customer/consumer needs.Strong skills in preparing S&OP, planning related report content supported by outstanding verbal and written communication skills.A proven ability to ask the right questions to ensure plans are the best they can be before being published.Lead us to be "RARELY SATISFIED."Make things better each day; "PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION."Use your knowledge of our consumer, understand that "DETAILS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE."Deliver something great; "WINNING IS A TEAM SPORT."Be clear and honest, "COMMUNICATING FOR IMPACT."#J-18808-Ljbffr
