Purpose:  Reporting to Head of Supply Chain, Family Care & Professional (IFP), the Demand Planning & S&OP Lead is responsible for leading demand planning for Kimberly-Clark for our Family Care and Professional business unit for the ANZ market.
As Demand Planning & S&OP Lead you will drive process optimisation across the Supply Chain through continuous improvement and will coordinate internal cross functional teams to review performance to deliver business goals.
This is a newly created position based out of North Sydney.
Job Description.
* Collect and analyse historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators to create accurate demand forecasts.
Develops and maintain statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future demand * Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to gather input and validate demand forecasts * Faciltiate S&OP meetings to align demand plans with supply chain capabilities and business objectives * Ensures that demand forecasts are integrated into the overall business planning process and aligned with financial targets * Track and analyse forecast accuracy, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to improve forecasting performance -Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast bias, demand variability, and inventory turnover * Facilitates communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure a holistic approach to demand planning * Communicate demand forecasts and changes to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making * Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the demand planning process Requirements * Demonstrated experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, ideally from the FMCG industry * Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
Proficiency with data analysis tools and software * High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure precise demand forecasts and inventory plans * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
