Collect and analyse historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators to create accurate demand forecasts.
Develops and maintain statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future demandWork closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to gather input and validate demand forecastsFaciltiate S&OP meetings to align demand plans with supply chain capabilities and business objectivesEnsures that demand forecasts are integrated into the overall business planning process and aligned with financial targetsTrack and analyse forecast accuracy, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to improve forecasting performance -Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast bias, demand variability, and inventory turnoverFacilitates communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure a holistic approach to demand planningCommunicate demand forecasts and changes to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-makingIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the demand planning processRequirementsDemonstrated experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, ideally from the FMCG industryStrong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
Proficiency with data analysis tools and softwareHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure precise demand forecasts and inventory plansExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
