Delta Group is looking for a qualified Construction Manager to support our growth and manage the execution of industrial projects in the Energy, Oil & Gas, and Mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Client and Contractor Negotiations : Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Project Coordination : Manage labor, plant equipment, subcontractors, and materials in line with project schedules. Tender and Contract Preparation : Prepare tenders and contract bids. Project Management : Adhere to legislation and company processes and protocols. Client Management : Maintain strong client relationships. KPI Establishment : Set and achieve project KPI targets. Cultural Development : Foster an excellent culture across projects. Project Reporting : Complete project reporting, including cost tracking, forecasting, and QSE reporting. Essential Skills and Attributes: Experience : 8+ years in construction/related fields. Qualifications : Formal qualification in Construction Project Management or Civil Engineering. Project Management : Experience managing large-scale construction projects (>$10M+) and/or projects in the oil & gas sector for Tier 1 clients. Safety Passion : Commitment to people and their safety. Decision Making : High-level decision-making and problem-solving skills. Software Proficiency : Advanced skills in scheduling, Excel, and Microsoft Project. Tender Preparation : Experience preparing tenders and contracts valued over $10M+. Desirable Skills and Attributes: International Experience : Experience managing projects internationally. Modelling Software : Proficiency in using modelling software to support method statement presentations.
