As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Delivery Specialist to join our team.
This role will be based in Sydney.
Position Overview:
The Delivery Specialist will be responsible for providing Best in Class, high quality customer service by ensuring that delivery booking appointments and to store/DC deliveries are made in accordance with customer requirements and within SLA and requested delivery date.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do:
Be the point of contact for customer delivery queries, order tracking working with third party transport team and visibility tools to respond quickly and update status to completion of delivery
Make sure that delivery appointments are made withing nominated delivery windows or requested delivery dates
Document and keep current delivery requirements documentation by customer and ensure access to the document for third party warehouse/transport teams, SN operations and commercial teams
ensuring visibility to operations, customer champion and commercial teams escalating delivery challenges based on the root cause of the issue
Expose reasons for why deliveries are help in distribution network, escalate to resolve root causes
participate in planning transportation for peak period and event delivery needs
Support the business trouble shoot consumer deliveries to resolution as needed
Develop weekly metrics reporting
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service operation with a similar scope and scale
Additional prior experience in a logistics or sales function in a transport logistics business
Strong Microsoft office and CRM Systems Experience
Zendesk experience desirable
Excel as a proficient communicator both verbally and in written form, ensuring clarity and coherence in all interactions
