We have an exciting new role at nbn for a Delivery Manager Technology Delivery Corporate reporting to the Senior Manager Delivery.
A bit about your roleYou will oversee the end-to-end delivery of technical projects within the Enterprise Technology Delivery (ETD) framework.
This role includes financial management and vendor engagement to ensure IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
You will develop detailed project plans, manage large-scale IT projects, and identify and mitigate risks and issues, track funding.
You will communicate project status to senior leadership and stakeholders, chair regular status meetings, and provide leadership and mentoring to team members.
Daily interactions with architects, delivery managers, business analysts, delivery teams, SEO delivery and enabler teams, vendor personnel, and general managers for governance.
A bit about youYou will ideally possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding a SAFe Scaled Agile certification.
You will have several years of experience in integrating multi-application and cross-partner business IT & Network solutions, with a strong background in project management for large-scale IT deliveries.
A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and domain knowledge in the telecommunications industry are preferred.
Experience in project delivery involving data & analytics (Big data & lake, Data Warehouse), data science, and Generative AI is highly advantageous.
The role demands excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with highly developed influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for managing senior relationships.
You will be responsible for establishing project governance, managing budgets, risks, and issues, and leading virtual teams.
Decisions related to project scope, budget, and significant change requests will be escalated to senior management as needed.
