The Opportunity To support travel dreams to come true, the Delivery Manager will manage and deliver the portfolio of strategic and quick win projects for TripADeal.
The Delivery Manager provides leadership and direction in the planning and delivery of strategic projects aligned to the TripADeal strategy as well as the quick win stream and will require an active role in the delivery including business analysis and reporting responsibilities.
This role leads a team of business analysts to assist in delivering on the agreed portfolio and works closely with technology and the senior leadership team on priority and development.
Organisational Structure You'll report to our Head of Delivery, with an interim reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer, and lead a passionate team of up to 5.
This is a full time 12-month fixed term contract role, with the potential to convert into a permanent position.
In your new role you will be based on-site from Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose!
Our Byron Bay HQ will be the primary location for this role, requiring a presence of at least 3 days at HQ, with the flexibility to work 2 days from the Gold Coast office if desirable.
A Day in the Life Manage the planning and delivery of large, complex projects including taking an active role, leading the delivery of projectsLead the identification of operational and delivery risks and the mitigation strategies to ensure delivery timelines are realisedLead a team of Business Analysts, including overseeing workload and performanceCollaborate with business units to optimise processes and align them with strategy and build strong relationships with key stakeholders for effective project deliveryPrepare and present briefings, business cases, and routine reports to track and report on project performance to stakeholders and senior leadershipConduct project retrospectives to understand areas for improvement and manage the implementation of improvement initiativesFacilitate Agile practices, maintaining sprint backlogs and leading Scrum ceremoniesAlign project technology requirements by working closely with the Head of TechnologyEnsure successful project launches by collaborating and working closely with teams such as marketing and operations To be a Front Running Candidate Highly regarded - Working knowledge of CMS platforms like SalesforceA real people leader - experience managing Business Analysts and leading teams in a fast paced environmentTertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management, Product Management, or related fields (or equivalent experience)Demonstrated experience in Agile methodology and delivering projects in the digital spaceStrong communication and leadership skills to inspire collaborationAbility to manage multiple projects with great attention to detailProactive, organised, and able to maintain confidentialityAbility to think logically and produce documentation swiftlyScrum certification is highly regardedPassion for travel and industry knowledge is a plus!
