It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you. About the role You will take a pragmatic and collaborative approach to how we deliver underpinned by agile and continuous improvement principles.

You will oversee and guide the Web and Voice Engagement Service team. This is from product idea through to design-build-test-operate for complex customer focused, business critical applications that use a range of cutting-edge technologies. Your responsibilities include ensuring that the team follows the enterprise delivery framework, Agile ways of working and values. You will facilitate Agile operating practices including but not limited to delivery planning, epic and story decomposition, story point estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, velocity tracking and resource capacity planning.

In this role, you'll get to: Work through initiatives to ensure completion and achieve successful outcomes. Promote new ideas to ensure ongoing focus on continuous improvement and new technologies. Understand the technical language to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. Collaborate with squads across Practices to define, commit and achieve sprint goals in line with delivery timelines. Assist and support change management activities, including collaboration with release teams to plan and deliver changes to production at scale. Remove impediments to unblock the team through support, escalation and engagement with other Services, Practices or project teams. What you'll bring to the role Preferable for candidates to have experience as a Scrum Master/Iteration Manager or experience in a similar role.

To be successful in the role you will have:

Experience using Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage and deliver solutions. Skills in training, mentoring, and supporting the team to follow Agile values, principles and practices. Experience determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items. Jira and Confluence experience. Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodology (incl. techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions).
