With Bendigo Bank… and you. About the Opportunity You will take a pragmatic and collaborative approach to how we deliver underpinned by agile and continuous improvement principles.
You will oversee and guide the Treasury and Balance Sheet Service team structured into functional squads.
This is from a product idea through to design-build-test-operate for complex customer focused, business critical applications that use a range of cutting-edge technologies.
Acting as a scrum master, the DL's responsibilities include ensuring that the team follows the enterprise delivery framework, Agile ways of working and values.
You will facilitate Agile operating practices including but not limited to delivery planning, epic and story decomposition, story point estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, velocity tracking and resource capacity planning.

In this role you'll get to: Work through an initiative to ensure completion to achieve successful outcomes.
Promote new ideas to ensure ongoing focus on continuous improvement and new technologies.
Understand the technical language to collaborate effectively with the engineering teams.
Collaborate with squads across Practices to define, commit and achieve sprint goals in line with delivery timelines.
Assist and support change management activities, including collaboration with release teams to plan and deliver changes to production at scale.
Organise and facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and showcases.
Manage and govern the service/teams backlog and planning of their work, in order to support the outcomes of delivery.
Conduct regular backlog grooming to maintain a six-iteration forward view of planned work.
Remove impediments to unblock the team through support, escalation and engagement with other Services, Practices or project teams.
What you'll bring to the role Solid experience as a Scrum Master/Iteration Manager in banking or finance industry or experience in a similar role.
Experience using Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage and deliver solutions.
Skills in training, mentoring, and supporting the team to follow Agile values, principles and practices.
Experience determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
Jira and Confluence experience.
Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodology (incl.
techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions).
Experience with Treasury technology, Regulatory projects and vendor management would be beneficial.
This role can be based in any one of our office locations in Melbourne, Bendigo, or Adelaide.
