This role is part of the Investment Management & Delivery team, managing governance processes and forums, co-ordinating with the Project Managers on governance requirements, actions and insights. This includes working closely with the Project Managers in the understanding the relevant guidelines and assist with the submissions to secure funding. The role will also be conducting regular analysis and providing recommendation on the health and governance of the projects and support in the preparation of papers for governance forums (including agenda, papers, minutes). As a Delivery & Governance Analyst, you are responsible for the following: Reporting to the Investment Governance Lead, the role will be responsible for supporting with the ongoing enhancement uplift of the governance model with analysis, design, testing and implementation across the projects. Work closely with the Project Managers and Investment Office on the checkpoint approval process. Manage governance practices for the projects and communicate/influence initiative leads to adopt governance requirements. Prepare papers for governance forums and lead forums (if required). The role will also conduct analysis and provide recommendation on the health and governance of the projects, support with continuous uplift of the governance framework and implement across the Division. Role Location: Melbourne VIC Role Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Full-time What will you bring? To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following: Project Management: Experience in projects, such as Project Manager, Business Analyst lead or PMO analyst. Exposure to PPM system is a bonus. Analytical experience: Capability to analyse data and provide recommendations on project health. Should be proficient in Excel and Powerpoint Strong written, verbal and communication skills: Clear communication to support decision making for senior executives. Risk Management: An understanding of delivery and change risk, and related operational risks that have the potential to impact project delivery and execution Relationship management: Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes Commercial acumen: Strong commercial skills including managing and monitoring business outcomes Problem Solving: Ability to tackle complex problems and use critical thinking, your network, skills and knowledge to drive better outcomes You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
