Federal Government Department Delivery Engineer – 12-Month Contract + Extensions Canberra Based Role! A reputable Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Delivery Engineer to assist with transitioning business systems from legacy platforms. This role requires someone with a broad range of technical knowledge across various environments. The contract is for 12 months, with potential extensions of up to 24 months.
Key Responsibilities: Developing technology architecture and detailed designs. Creating migration plans for legacy systems. Providing technical services across diverse platforms and mentoring team members. Enhancing reporting capabilities and creating monitoring dashboards. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective project delivery. Key Requirements: 3+ years of experience in designing and delivering operational environments. Broad technical expertise across at least three areas, such as: Active Directory Windows/Unix Servers VMware Cloud (Azure & AWS) SQL/Oracle databases LAN/WAN networks Ability to work effectively across different technologies and environments.
