We are looking for Drivers to join our friendly home delivery and collection team. Previous experience in the industry is an advantage. However, if you are honest, reliable and have a can-do attitude, with a commitment to exceptional customer service, then full training can be provided for the right candidates.
This is working for a family owned and run Company. The role is customer-facing and will involve working as part of a two-man team, delivering and collecting furniture.
Main Requirements of the Role Completing all aspects of a delivery crew role, including loading and delivering furniture. Working effectively as part of a team. Being responsible for driving, loading, and maintaining company vehicles. Being able to risk assess and recognize potential issues in advance and provide appropriate and safe solutions. Maintain excellent customer service. Have a positive approach to personal development. Some warehouse and porter work required. Benefits Full training for those with no experience. Guaranteed 40 hours per week for full-time workers. Annual salary reviews. Contributory pension scheme. Career progression. 28 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) pro rata. Working Hours Average working week is 5 days between Monday to Saturday. Start times are job dependent, but usually between 7-8am. Due to the nature of the work, weekly hours and finish times are not set, so flexibility is required. Essential Criteria Drivers - 12 Months Driving experience and clean licence. A level of physical fitness and health that meets the physical demands of the role. Strong teamwork skills. An ability to keep calm under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills. A dedication to providing good customer service. A strong commitment to the personal development of yourself and others. Previous Employees need not apply.
