As the Delivery Operations Specialist, your biggest job will be to delight and amaze our customers when you are delivering or picking up their car. You will be supported by an enthusiastic, energetic team of people who are also customer-first, and you will receive all the necessary training you need to succeed in this role. We are looking for people with a genuine passion for customer service first and foremost - coupled with a positive outlook, and proactive "can-do" attitude. You will need a valid driver's licence for this role and be willing to learn how to drive larger delivery vehicles.
Responsibilities:

Be the "face" of Cars24 to our customers when delivering and picking up cars.
Go above and beyond to delight and amaze our customers, with a warm attitude, exceptional communication skills and a highly professional demeanour.
Build trust with your customers by being timely, reliable and communicative, and proactively help resolve customer issues on the spot.
Liaise closely with the customer operations team to ensure the right car is delivered on the right delivery vehicle and route, to the right person on file, with the right specifications.
Liaise closely with the customer operations team on administrative tasks and ensure all paperwork required at the point of handover is completed smoothly, with minimal hassle.
Be willing to learn how to drive a large vehicle; we will provide training as required.
Be willing to learn how to assess a car for delivery or pick-up; we will provide training and operating protocols to guide you.
Help shape and support the development of customer-facing processes in our new business.
Customer satisfaction metrics will be your performance indicator.
Handle registrations: Register, transfer, acquire, cancel and ensure the right cars are registered for delivery.
Responsible for delivery quality checks to uphold Cars24's delivery standards.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1-2 years customer service experience in a well-known retail environment, where you engaged and served customers face-to-face.
A customer champion outlook - you take seriously the role of being the voice of the customer within the organisation.
You're a solid team player working within a big organisation, eager to be a part of a team that will change how cars are bought and sold in Australia.
You're aware of the highs and lows of start-up life, and are willing to be part of our journey.
Self-starter, autonomous - you proactively own your space and can act with minimal instruction.
A creative problem-solver, able to work outside of expectations and processes across the organisation.
Car knowledge (nice to have) - you know the ins and outs of most makes and models.
You need to have a valid full driver's licence for this role.
You need a valid truck licence for this role - Light Rigid or higher.
You are flexible and are willing to work after hours and weekends, based on a rotating roster.
