About the role
We are looking for an all-rounder Leading Hand to join our crews and work across our projects, including upgrading and upsizing of water and wastewater projects across the southern Sydney region.
Tasks you will be involved with, but not limited to:
Formwork for various civil projects across pipelines, drainage, water, sewer, and stormwater, including pump stations/pipe chambers.
Concrete plinths, kerb, and gutter for footpaths.
Basic concreting and steel fixing.
You will be responsible for quality and safety amongst the teams.
Desired Experience
Previous experience working on water infrastructure projects.
Previous experience leading crews.
Experience in Machines (Excavator, Skid Steer).
Experience with panel formwork, in situ and precast systems.
Experience in concreting; interpreting plans, pouring, and screeding.
The ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations and have strong problem-solving skills.
Sound interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, allowing you to interact with people clearly and effectively within water, external organisations, and the general public.
Skills & Qualifications
White Card.
Trade Certification, Civil Construction/Concreter/Form Worker/Plant Tickets.
MR/HR Licence.
Confined Space.
Working at heights.
The following will be highly regarded:
HR Truck Licence.
First Aid.
Dogman Ticket.
Excavator Statement of Attainment.
Favourable permanent hourly rates based on experience, including overtime, leave entitlements, and benefits.
Solid induction and training provided, together with development for future growth and opportunities.
