Diverse, national for-purpose organisation Strategic & hands on An organisation that is highly regarded and at the forefront of the sector, our client has recently announced an exciting merger that will see it enhancing service delivery through scale, innovation and sustainability. Providing a range of services across a multi-state footprint, they have a well-defined strategy and are led by a strong CEO. The CPO is a key role to ensure the delivery of their strategy, with highly visible and impactful deliverables to be achieved.
Reporting to an astute and highly competent CEO, the CPO will lead a broad portfolio and combined P&C team of approximately 18 encompassing business partnering, workplace relations, talent acquisition and health, safety and wellbeing. The key areas of focus will see you:
Contribute to setting and delivering the strategic plan and objectives Lead, manage and develop a recently combined people & culture function Undertake and enhance workforce planning, talent acquisition and talent management Develop the industrial relations strategy, manage complex matters and negotiate agreements Develop engagement, reward, recognition and retention strategies Ensure multi-faceted and best practice WHS compliance, reporting and education Contribute positively to Board and sub-committees Business partner the Executive With a proactive people engagement and leadership style, you:
Enjoy the challenge of achieving high workplace performance and success, while positively impacting on the career development of your workforce Have an in-depth knowledge and experience in the design and execution of the full breadth of the People & Culture function Bring significant proven success in P&C leadership positions, managing complex and diverse HR functions including through M&A periods Think strategically and possess proven transformational skills, whilst also staying appropriately hands on Are highly competent at managing employment relations matters including bargaining, investigations, change, negotiation, conflict resolution, coaching and development Have experience and a passion for working in health/ community services or aligned sectors Following the recent merger, now is an exciting time to join this organisation and lead a strong P&C team through this next chapter.
