The Opportunity Delaware North Australia is hiring a STP Operator to join our Maintenance Team at Lizard Island Resort. As a STP Operator, you will play a vital role in managing and monitoring the Resort Sewerage Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant at our resort. In this vital role, you will help us deliver a premium customer experience in this amazing environment, ensuring our guests' comfort from arrival to departure. Responsibilities Operate and maintain water and sewerage treatment plants in line with legislation Record water usage, sample potable water, and replace chemicals as needed Perform daily operations, maintenance, and repairs at the sewerage treatment plant Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and testing requirements Adhere to safety, environmental, and resort procedures, including cyclone protocols What will you bring? STP certifications and a current driver's license Understanding of safety standards and chemical knowledge Tractor and front-end loader licenses (preferred) Strong adherence to environmental policies and procedures Ability to perform duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor At Delaware North, you'll love where you work, who you work with, and how your day unfolds.
