About the Role Position: Head of Senior School Location: Melbourne South Eastern Suburbs Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: January 2025 Teaching Load: Ideally in English or Humanities (negotiable) The Head of Senior School will play a vital role in leading the Senior School team, fostering an environment of excellence, inclusivity, and faith-based values.
This role encompasses strategic leadership, staff and student management, and the promotion of high-quality education grounded in Christian principles.
Key Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to the Senior School, ensuring alignment with the school's Christian ethos and strategic goals.
Oversee the academic and pastoral care programs for Years 10-12.
Support and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Engage with students, families, and the wider community to promote a vibrant, Christ-centred learning environment.
Carry a teaching load, ideally in English or Humanities (negotiable based on expertise).
About You: Be an active Christian, committed to living out their faith in their professional and personal life.
Hold relevant teaching qualifications and leadership experience in a senior school setting.
Exhibit a passion for student success and the development of a positive, faith-based school culture.
Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Be eligible to work and teach in Australia.
