The primary responsibility of a Defensive Driver Trainer is to play a crucial role in promoting safe driving behaviors and enhancing road safety in Sydney and surrounding areas. You will deliver comprehensive defensive driving training programs to individuals and corporate clients, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate challenging road conditions and avoid accidents.
Responsibilities: Deliver defensive driving training for individuals and groups, using various teaching methods to suit different learning styles. Instruct on defensive driving techniques, hazard perception, risk awareness, and vehicle control strategies to enhance participants' driving skills and safety awareness. Offer feedback and coaching to help trainees gain confidence and proficiency in defensive driving. Tailor training programs to meet clients' specific needs and goals. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participant progress. Requirements: We welcome applicants with expertise in training and education, particularly in areas like road safety, driver education, risk mitigation, occupational health and safety, or similar domains, without regard to gender. We also invite genuine subcontractors to apply, as this role involves travel across regions and states, occasional weekend work, and the ability to operate independently. Ideally, candidates should have completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a similar qualification. Preferably, candidates should possess a Certificate IV in Driving Instruction or hold valid licensure/authorization as a driving instructor in Australia.
