A bit about the role… The BUSY Group are contracted to deliver ADF Transition Support Services and as such, the primary purpose of this position is to provide career coaching and associated individualised job transition package recommendations to transitioning Eligible Australian Defence Force (ADF) Members from their military to civilian life.
This position will work closely with transitioning ADF members to provide advice and guidance on upskilling for a current job, cross skilling into roles within their current occupation or transitioning to a new occupation, including providing recommendations for training and education pathways and options.
This role is permanent full time, based in Holsworthy.

About you… Demonstrated case management experience Previous experience with coaching and mentoring along with the ability to respond effectively to behaviours of concern, dealing with conflict or mental health issues.
Previous experience in a careers advisory role is essential, preferably including skills with defence personnel.
Well-developed interpersonal skills (including building rapport, listening and interviewing), and ability to research and write clear Career Plans.
Self-motivated with a strong client focus and desire to be a part of a service organisation.
Demonstrated high-level ICT skills particularly the use of the Microsoft suite of programs.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply guidelines, administrative procedures and processes Experience and/or confidence with group or public speaking.
Must have one of the following: Minimum 5 years' experience in the employment services industry or community services sector; Cert IV in Career Development (or similar); Minimum 4 years full-time ADF service in the preceding 5 years.
Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check; Open drivers license.
Must be an Australian Citizen.
