Kinexus is seeking a skilled Defence Logistics / MILIS Trainer to support the Australian Defence Logistics College team within Joint Logistics Command.
In this pivotal role, you will deliver high-quality training for Defence personnel, contractors, and civilian partners, ensuring proficiency in Defence's logistics information systems.This position is instrumental in maintaining workforce readiness as the Defence Logistics Enterprise transitions towards an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program.
If you're passionate about training delivery and logistics systems, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESConduct MILIS and PIMS training sessions as per the Defence training schedule, ensuring learners are job-ready and proficient in logistics systems.Work with Defence Service Schools, Groups, Services, and logistic workplaces to align training with operational needs and performance requirements.Address training-related queries from stakeholders, providing expert advice and support.Ensure systematic course preparation, delivery, and post-training documentation, maintaining high administrative standards.Conduct systematic reviews of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and training activities, assessing progress against plans and schedules, and implement adjustments as needed.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training elements remain effective and sustainable across the capability lifecycle.Deliver monthly status reports on ILS and training activities, outlining progress, risks, and achievements.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDRelevant qualifications and/or professional experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Training, or Design.In-depth understanding of Defence logistics systems (MILIS & PIMS), with the ability to deliver tailored training to diverse audiences.Experience in Integrated Logistics or training roles within the Defence environment, ideally with exposure to Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) projects.Familiarity with the SADL framework to align training initiatives with Defence requirements.Strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring training aligns with operational and workforce needs.Willingness to travel as required (limited and at the Commonwealth's discretion).ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSDue to the nature of this role, Australian citizenship is required.Applicants must hold a BASELINE Defence security clearance or higher.ABOUT KINEXUSKinexus has been providing recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace sectors for over 23 years.
