We are seeking a nurturing and engaging nanny to assist a professional family in Dee Why. The nanny will be responsible for caring for two children (4.5yr old boy and 22 month old baby girl).An ideal nanny will be warm, caring and nurturing. A nanny that is bubbly, energetic/active and confident, is happy to engage and play and have fun.The nanny will be a gentle and responsive carer and is comfortable with following the children's routines, needs and interests. A nanny that has a genuine love of children and can dedicate their time to them both and enhance their learning and development on a daily basis.The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is responsible, patient, safe, reliable and is able to commit to the role on a long term basis and be highly invested in building a lovely relationship with the whole family.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:Care for the childrenProvide age appropriate activities (plan, engage, play)Drop eldest off to Kindy /Pick up required occasionallyTake the youngest out for a walk, swim at the beach, play at the park/playground/outdoor playCook/prep meals and snacks for the children and evening family meal prepAssist with light household duties - Keeping the main areas of the house tidy, kitchen tidy, dishwasher-packed/unpacked, tidying of toys at the end of the dayRun errands occasionallyLoad of washing/folded and put awayStart Date: ASAPContract: Long term permanent – 5th Dec 2024The days and normal hours – 1 day – 9 hours per week:Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pmThe family's expectations from their nanny are:3 years + experience as a nanny or worked in child careHave a current first aid certificateHave a current working with children's check numberDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishTo be fit, healthy and activeUp to date with all vaccinationsFull drivers licence and clean driving recordJob Reference: LLD136Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
