Apply Now!This role is a key member of our client's Perth based Procurement team, where you will support senior mangers in delivering business plans, strategic initiatives, and high-risk projects within the Decarbonisation portfolio. Your work will directly contribute to achieving clean energy solutions and fostering sustainable growth in regional communities.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver strategic, high-risk procurement activities and provide expert advisory services across source-to-contract, contract management, and supplier relationships.Support improvements in sourcing timelines and commercial outcomes while maintaining accuracy and completeness in procurement systems.Provide spend insights and benchmarking to align with business objectives and compliance metrics.Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with supplier relationship management frameworks.Lead high-level negotiations, offer expert advice, and resolve complex contract risks.Conduct market research to understand supply chain dynamics, legislative impacts, and buyer behaviours.Energy or utilities industry experience, particularly in major infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of infrastructure interconnections and their impact on projects.Skills, Experience and Attributes:Considerable experience in a commercial environment, demonstrating strong negotiation and spend management capabilities in a complex business context.Stakeholder management experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders at various levels, including executives, suppliers, and government agencies.Expertise in procurement processes, contract management, legislative obligations, and financial management, with a focus on decarbonisation strategies.Proactive problem-solving, strategic planning, and excellent communication abilities.Advanced skills in MS Office and procurement systems.#J-18808-Ljbffr
