With one of our valued team members on a development secondment, we have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and capable leader to step into the role of Debtor Management Team Leader within our Client Administration team.

About the Role As part of our Finance Shared Services Division, the Client Administration Team is the central point of contact for all things related to client transactions and finance queries, especially within our Ageing Services.
Your role as the Team Leader will focus on debtor management, helping clients with finance-related enquiries and ensuring prompt, thoughtful follow-up and resolution.
Your Key Responsibilities Lead & Inspire: Mentor and coach your small team to deliver excellent client service, helping them grow and succeed.Client-Centric Focus: Handle debtor management activities with a compassionate and client-first approach, including account follow-ups, payment plans, and ad-hoc financial processes.Financial Reporting: Prepare and issue financial reports, ensuring that everything aligns with budgets and policy guidelines.Collaboration: Liaise with other Uniting teams and external government services (like Centrelink and Medicare) to resolve client financial issues.Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the debtor management process, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and that all accounts are managed with precision and care.About You You'll bring at least 3 years of experience leading teams and managing debtor processes, along with a proven ability to work compassionately and collaboratively with clients.
Experience in the aged care or community sector would be highly desirable, but what's most important is your confidence, communication skills, and commitment to supporting both your team and our clients.
