A great opportunity for a Debt Finance Officer to join this busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role: Assisting with the scheme debt register, including system cancelled debts and unrecovered debts. Assisting with debt recovery processes in line within the Scheme Debt Management Policy, including liaising with other business areas, Providers and Participants in relation to payment arrangements, debt write-offs and waivers. Preparing invoices, including payment request cancellation as required. Provide input into the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the team, including process mapping requirements. Extracting and analysing data from SAP/PSCD and other data systems for management reporting. Assisting with queries regarding pending SAP/PSCD payments and bank account issues. Supporting project initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders within the team and across the Agency. About you: Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to comply with all legislative and policy requirements. Strong communication skills. Accounting/account receivable skills. Debt recovery experience. Database administration and analysis skills and experience. Benefits: ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance). 12-month assignment with potential extension. Full-time hours Monday to Friday. Multiple locations (VIC, QLD, ACT, SA) + hybrid working from home options. $43.82 per hour + Super.
