About the role:
The Dean (Undergraduate) would be the leader of undergraduate programs the school offers across all four S P Jain campuses located in Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, and Sydney.
Broadly, this includes lifting the programs in all respects as many of these are interrelated.
Key role responsibilities include:
Program Delivery
High quality delivery of all subjects using an engaged learning pedagogy Curriculum design to make it cutting edge and contemporary and enrich the same with GenAI, ESG, online learning, gaming, and other forms of modern pedagogy Developing a robust global immersion plan that leverages multi country learning Selection and training of faculty who could deliver desired classroom experiences Developing a corporate readiness program to ensure that students are ready for job interviews Statutory compliances
The Dean would be responsible for statutory compliances like TEQSA, Australia and other bodies related to academics in relation to undergraduate programs.
There would be assistance from the compliance team and other related associates.
The Dean would be an ex-officio member of the Academic Board.
Brand building, rankings and recognition
The Dean would make and execute a strategy to raise the brand profile of the school.
These may include talks, high profile seminars and promoting the school to students, academia and the corporate sector.
Student recruitment
The Dean would work closely with the Student Recruitment team towards getting more students of high quality and also ensure more diversity (more non-Indian students).
Global partners
The Dean would be responsible for expanding the network of global partners and collaborations for the school (including corporates, NGOs, universities).
The focus should be on high quality partners that enhance the UG program.
Any other duties as relevant towards fulfilment of requirements towards the role as Dean UG Programs In addition, the role as Dean, you would be required to have a small teaching load of 4 credits (of 18 hours each).
This may be slightly increased or decreased depending on the requirements of the school.
