About the role Mandurah Baptist College invites applications from outstanding Christian educators to the position of Dean of Teaching & Learning (Secondary) from the commencement of the 2025 school year, or later by negotiation.
The Dean of Teaching & Learning (Secondary) is a pivotal role in the College's leadership structure, reporting to the Head of Secondary and being responsible for the management and oversight of teaching and learning in the Secondary School, including oversight of the Heads of Learning Area team.
The Dean of Teaching & Learning (Secondary) will have an outstanding knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy, school systems and wider educational trends, and have a proven track record of working with teams to create high-performing cultures that promote student learning.
The Secondary School at Mandurah Baptist College currently caters for over 700 students from Year 7 to 12, with plans to expand this capacity in coming years. A major capital upgrade is currently underway, with a state-of-the-art STEAM Centre opening in 2022 being joined by a new teaching and learning block in 2025, with further facilities planned.
