Management - Schools (Education & Training)The Dean of Mission is a member of the College Leadership Team with delegated responsibility for the development and promotion of the all-embracing Catholic dimension of the College including its Ethos and Religious Charism, living out the College values of Pax, Stewardship and Hospitality.The Dean of Mission works to give expression to the Mission and Vision Statement of the College in its Catholic, Benedictine and Good Samaritan traditions through the development and implementation of a range of educational programs, faith experiences and pastoral services.The Dean of Mission will be an innovative, inspiring, energetic, and knowledgeable leader that supports student wellbeing and models effective wellbeing approaches, capable and responsible use of technology, and will be a positive role model as an instrumental leader to all within the College community.Essential Criteria for the roleBe able to demonstrate an understanding of the charism of Good Samaritan Education as articulated in the Good Samaritan Schools Teaching and Learning Framework and the Good Samaritan Schools Mission Framework.Have a minimum of five years teaching and leadership experience in a Catholic school.Have relevant teaching qualifications and have, or be working towards, post graduate qualifications in education, leadership, religious education or theology.Be able to demonstrate a high level of competency in the domains of leadership as outlined in the role description.A valid 'Working with Children Check' Clearance.How to applyApplications must be submitted via email to ****** by 4pm, Saturday 12 October 2024 and should include the following:Application for Membership of StaffResume which includes details of qualifications, relevant experience and the names and contact details of three referees.Copies of academic transcripts or relevant qualifications.Please visit the Employment section of the College website for further information and a copy of the position description.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Dean?Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?
