Dealership Truck Assistant Service Manager

Due to expansion, we have an opportunity for an experienced dealership truck service leader to support the Service Manager & a team of over 60 people.

Due to an internal promotion, we seek a dedicated, experienced individual to fill the Truck Dealership Assistant Service Manager position.
About the Role:As the Truck Dealership Assistant Service Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Service Manager and ensuring the smooth operations of our service department. Key responsibilities include:
Upholding Patterson Cheney's exceptional service standardsIdentifying opportunities for continuous improvementEnsuring customer satisfaction and maximising salesCollaborating with the parts departmentHandling customer inquiries and complaints with professionalismMaintaining accurate service recordsImplementing and maintaining department policies and proceduresStaying informed on industry trends in truck maintenance and repairAbout you:Previous leadership experience in dealership truck serviceDesire to advance in your service management careerUnderstanding of service department's KPIsProficiency in truck maintenance and repair processesStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to manage customer interactions effectivelyOrganisational and time management skillsTeam player with the ability to work well under pressureProficient in dealer software management and good PC skillsCurrent VIC Heavy Vehicle driver's licenseWhat's in it for YOU?Competitive salary package plus car and commissionsOutstanding career growth opportunities throughout the group (we are expanding)Ongoing training and development on and off-siteAccess to Patterson Cheney Cars and Trucks discountsJob security with a strong and growing independent family-owned businessWorking in a people-focused culture.
