The Role Alto is seeking an experienced equity markets Dealers Assistant to join their Australian Corporate and Wealth Management business servicing their clients across Australia from the Subiaco office, commencing in January 2025.
As part of the client-facing advisory team, the role will be directly supporting private client advisers, and the broader investment, product, and service functions of the business.
The ideal candidate will be someone with circa 2+ years' experience within wealth management, preferably equity market operations / client services or in a current dealer/desk/advisor assistant role.

Duties: Duties include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of paperwork for new and existing accounts Assist Directors and Advisers with tasks and queries Liaising with clients and 3rd party providers Assist with Corporate deals as required Preparation of invoices for clients as required Provide reports to Advisers and clients as required Preparation of outgoing mail Collection and distribution of incoming mail Assist Manager as required Provide cover for Directors / Office Manager when on leave Basic Banking services (as required) Coordinating boardroom meetings and presentations We may also assign you other duties, where reasonable for your position, training and experience.
Desired Qualifications and Experience 2+ years equity operations, client services, or (ideally) prior desk/advisor assistant experience within the stockbroking / wealth management industry Diploma (AQF Level 5 or higher) within a related discipline desirable AML/KYC experience Proven experience using Business Management Systems such as Xero, Internet Banking and CRM Excellent numeracy and communication skills, both written and spoken High attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes within a team Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Hours of Work: You are expected to work a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Working Hours are set in conjunction with the ASX Cash market trading hours. Your standard working hours are 8:00 am to 3:30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or 7:00 am to 2:30 pm in Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT), with half an hour for lunch.
Public holidays are in accordance with the ASX Trading Calendar.
