About the Role As the business grows, we are now seeking a visionary and results-driven individual to join our Network Development team at BYD Australia.
This role is instrumental in building and strengthening an ever-growing BYD network nationally.
The Dealer Policy and Operations Specialist is a skilled role and vital part of the Network Development team involving statistical and research analytics supporting the development and preparation of all statistical, business, and policy reporting for the company.
This role demands high-quality outputs that meet strict deadlines, with outputs combining a mix of routine and ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements.
This role will be key to developing and delivering operational remuneration and benefits activities and supporting key projects including routine and ad-hoc network performance reporting.
This role will be responsible for: Developing, monitoring, and analysing dealership business performance tools to ensure alignment with company objectives with a focus on identifying key areas for improvement.Collaborating with central teams to implement the latest programs, trainings, standards, and operation tools within the dealership network.Gathering and utilising market intelligence to support strategic decisions in site selection, dealer selection, and network optimisation.Developing processes and systems to evaluate dealer and overall business performance across all business acumens.Communicating updated findings to internal and external stakeholders.Managing the development of appropriate policies aimed at strengthening communication integrity amongst all stakeholders.Conducting advanced statistical analyses and testing where required using tools such as SPSS, Knime, or SAS.Collaborating with internal teams to collect, clean, and analyse data required for all reporting requirements.Ensuring all outputs align with business rigor and are suitable for dissemination and presentation to all internal and external stakeholders.Leading and supporting additional statistical and research activities as needed, within resource constraints.Assisting in the development and review of reward frameworks, toolkits, and guidelines that align with strategic priorities and programs of work.Assisting and working with the broader team to plan, design, and evaluate dealership rewards programs such as salaries, short-term incentives, and benefits programs in line with organizational culture, objectives, and principles.Supporting performance evaluation activities, such as mapping market opportunities, challenges, and threats.Preparing market ratio analysis, analysing survey outcomes, and helping clients, countries, and stakeholders to understand the findings.Driving effective stakeholder communication, cadence, and building relations with client and project team counterparts.Essential Experience and Skills: You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field.3+ years' experience in the automotive industry having worked for an OEM.Strong numeracy and analytical skills.Strong proficiency in all MS Office applications in addition to other project management software applications and tools.Proficiency in statistical tools such as SPSS, Knime, or SAS.Demonstrated experience in conducting statistical analysis and significance testing.Strong background in research methodology, with excellent analytical and drafting skills.Ability to produce high-quality, well-researched outputs under tight deadlines.Strong advisory and influencing skills with key stakeholders.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.Ability to drive discussions and possess strong negotiation skills.Ability to work proactively with confidence.Resilience in a diverse and challenging environment.If you believe you are a good fit for the role, please don't hesitate to click on APPLY and submit your updated resume.
