The Role:This Deal Operations Specialist role, reporting to the Manager, Deal Operations, involves working cross-functionally and providing quoting and booking support to the APJ region, beginning at the quoting stage through order booking in Salesforce.com.
Responsibilities:Reply to, manage, and facilitate quoting help requests from sales.Facilitate exception approval requests both within and outside of SFDC CPQ.Validate signed sales orders comply with company policies.Perform a booking package validation to ensure all paperwork that is signed matches the PO and SFDC and if not, use the exceptions checklist to determine next steps before approving the Opportunity to move to the Finance Team and Netsuite.Provide new sales reps new hire training on quoting tools and processes.Participate in team projects upon request.Participate in deal reviews and commercial conversations with Account Executives and sales leadership as appropriate.Participate in UAT Testing and issue identification for SFDC.Required Skills:SFDC Experience.Ability to navigate internal resources to obtain advice and guidance on deal construction and any obstructions or potential blockers to getting approved and booked.Able to work extended hours during quarter-end cycles.Highly responsive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.A "do whatever it takes" attitude to enact change within the organisation, being a leader and a trusted business advisor.Ability to work under pressure and prioritise with a positive, can-do attitude.You must be a business facilitator!Life at Ping:We believe in and facilitate a flexible, collaborative work environment.
