We're looking for the next BDO Advisors of the future to join our Business Restructuring Graduate Program in January 2025!
Why Business Restructuring?
As a Graduate in Business Restructuring, you'll join a team of experienced restructuring and insolvency specialists and technical experts.
You'll work in the office across various industries and a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency engagements, class actions and business restructuring advisory projects.
Each restructuring and insolvency engagement is an exciting opportunity to learn and understand the ins and outs of how a business operates, the causes and consequences of financial distress and the strategies and options available to assist businesses and creditors.
Using BDO's systems you will attend to statutory reporting requirements, review financial statements, conduct investigations, and communicate with creditors and other key stakeholders.
You will be involved with identifying and realising assets and trading businesses and sometimes attending on site.
You will assist on matters with solicitors and pursuing legal recovery actions and better outcomes.
You will be part of a team of problem solvers and strategic thinkers.
About the Role
As part of the Business Restructuring team, you will work on formal insolvency appointments such as small business restructuring, voluntary administrations, receiverships, liquidations and bankruptcies.
You may assist on class action engagements and develop skills in the conduct of safe harbour and business turnaround engagements, independent business reviews and financial modelling.
We have a hands-on and practical approach.
As a close-knit team you will get to work on all facets of engagements and obtain broad and varied experience whilst building client relationships as a trusted advisor.

You will be graduating late 2024, or have recently completed an Accounting, Commerce or relevant undergraduate or postgraduate CA/CPA eligible degree.
You can commence full-time in January 2025.
