Main ResponsibilitiesProvide quality Auslan translations according to the details within the assigned projectWork with other Translators and project administrators in the provision of the Translation ServiceAbide by the ASLITA Code of Ethics and the organisation's Code of ConductContribute to a high standard of professional service by upholding the vision, mission and values of the organisationAbout YouIn your application, let us know if you have these key skills and experience:
Hold a current NAATI English to Auslan Recognised Practicing Translator certificate or commit to obtaining within six monthsFluency in Auslan, knowledge and understanding of the Deaf community, its language and cultureAbility to adjust language register to meet the audience needsGood understanding of EnglishGood presentation skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to work independently to access and collate informationPositive and flexible attitudeExperience in Auslan translationsYou should also let us know if you have these other great skills:
