The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.

About the Role?
To perform this role it is essential that the incumbent is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991. As a Partnership Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the work of the Partnerships team with, implementation and activations tied to contract deliverables across community partnerships and licencees. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide high levels of customer service, attention to detail and organisation in order to provide support on a range of Tasks. This role is an integral part of the Deadly Choices Team, responsible with implementing our strategy, nurturing relationships, and maximising partnership opportunities.
Within this role, you will be required to:
Assist with management tasks for the Partnerships team Engage with corporate and community partners and other external stakeholders in a friendly, professional and confident manner Co-ordinate activities designed to engage and secure effective relationships with partners and supporters, including internal/external meetings and events. Assist with the development and completion of compliance and partnership reporting requirements. With direction from the DC Partnerships Manager, assist with administrative tasks for Licensee holders and health service partners. Assist in the coordination and implementation of a range of health education, promotion and prevention activities across the DC partnership portfolio Liaise with community members to coordinate activities and activation opportunities at events. Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD) Current Criminal History Check - Willing to obtain upon commencement Current QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check) Required prior to commencement Current First Aid and CPR Certificate - Willing to obtain upon commencement Availability and openness to work some weekends and outside of office hours, depending on activity.
