The role will report to the Executive Branch Manager Technology Services and will work with government, industry, and community stakeholders to develop the Territory Telecommunications Policy encompassing Mobile and fixed line telephony, 4/5G and fixed wireless data connectivity, National Broadband Network (NBN) connections, CBR Free Wi-Fi and the Territory Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN).The ACT Public Service supports workforce diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will primarily operate from a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk, However, flexible work arrangements including working from home part time, may be negotiated.
