Our Distribution Centre (DC) is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility in Tullamarine, Melbourne, and truly is the beating heart of our business. Our Team Leaders act as our on-floor leaders and daily subject matter experts (SMEs), overseeing the day-to-day tasks of small sub-departmental teams. Team Leaders act as the daily point of contact for our team members, troubleshooting task issues, training new team members, and overseeing the daily resource allocation against daily volume projections.
The Role You Could Play: Maintain a safe work environment and promote a safety-first culture across the DC.Oversee daily workflows and ensure adherence to operational targets and KPIs.Perform stock accuracy checks and resolve operational concerns quickly.Provide coaching, feedback, and training to team members to foster growth and performance.Allocate resources efficiently based on expected volumes and operational needs.Contribute to process improvements and support change initiatives to enhance performance.Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures.Act as the primary point of contact for team members, addressing concerns and operational issues.What You Will Bring: Experience coordinating and/or managing a small to medium and diverse team.Experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing, with online fulfillment (desirable).Experience operating within an RF scanning and/or automated environment.Ability to work independently, efficiently and take initiative.Ability to motivate others to achieve KPIs and deadlines.Ability to lead and work within a team creating a positive work environment.Computer literate and excellent communication skills.Your Life At MECCA Whilst we are singularly focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn't be possible without an incredible team that is guided by our MECCA values and motivated each and every day to be solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and have a bit of fun along the way!
