About the Role:
The Visual Merchandiser/Space Planner involves designing, updating, and optimizing planograms by leveraging customer data, insights, and business performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in Visual Merchandising and point-of-sale management, preferably within multi-category grocery, retail, or pharmaceutical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceive and implement visual design brand strategy for temporary point of sale executions, across the retail network of Grocery, Discount Department Retail and Pharmacy accounts and additional networks and events as required. Responsible for the end-to-end management of off locations roll out from briefing to in store execution. Develop a concise and comprehensive brief for the field team to facilitate the seamless execution of the point-of-sale (POS) rollout. Compose comprehensive briefs for the POS manufacturer while showcasing excellent communication skills. Work closely with field sales, marketing and account managers to ensure visual merchandising touchpoints consider the entire consumer journey and facilitate omni-channel experiences & data collection. Lead project management with local and international vendors and stakeholders. Skills & Experience:
Experienced in Grocery, Discount Department Retail and Pharmacy accounts – in particular Woolworths, Big W, Chemist Warehouse (advantageous) You have 2+ years previous experience within a similar role, having mastered visual merchandising fundamentals. A background in shopfitting, design and industrial design (advantageous) Work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work within a fast-paced environment. Excellent project and time management with superior attention to detail. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Microsoft Suite and additional program competencies.
