Day Shift Forklift Driver

Start Date: Immediate upon clearance to work
Hours: Day shift /Afternoon shift, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $34.00 to $39.00 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our packaging and warehouse team.
This role involves handling packaged alcohol products, operating forklifts, and performing various material handling tasks.

Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Load and unload trucks, ensuring careful handling of products.Transport pallets of packaged alcohol to storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas, adhering to inventory management procedures.Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.Pick and pack individual cases or bottles using an RF scanner.Report and escalate any issues with machines or conveyors to the line leader.Qualifications: Proven experience as a forklift operator.Valid forklift licence.Strong understanding of safety protocols.Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.Capable of safely operating a forklift and performing tasks involving bending and reaching.Additional Information: The role reports to the line leader and does not involve direct reports.Line leaders will provide support and supervision, working alongside a team of 4 operators.How to Apply: If you have the required RF experience and are physically able to lift 20kg boxes, we encourage you to apply.
