Join the Goodwin Aged Care team as our Day Club Team Leader (DCTL) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of older Australians through quality care and engaging community programs.As the Day Club Team Leader, you will provide leadership, mentoring, and support to Day Club Coordinators and Officers who deliver services for Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) centre-based day programs. Your role will focus on ensuring quality care outcomes that align with clients' needs, maintain compliance, and provide excellent customer service.Salary: $95,654 + SuperKey ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor Day Club staff and volunteers, ensuring quality care and service delivery.Oversee the recruitment, induction, professional development, and performance management of Day Club personnel.Plan, coordinate, and deliver programs that promote social, intellectual, and physical well-being for older adults.Conduct client assessments and develop individualized service plans in line with CHSP guidelines.Manage service plan reviews, payroll, rostering, and ensure program efficiency.Monitor and meet budget expectations while fostering relationships with external stakeholders.Ensure compliance with policies, oversee skill assessments, and drive continuous improvements through data analysis and KPIs.Represent Goodwin at network meetings, provide reports, and manage complaints in line with company policies.Mandatory QualificationsCurrent Class C Driver's License.Bus license (Light vehicle rigid license is desirable).Cert IV in Leisure and Health (or similar qualification) is highly desirable.Essential Skills and ExperienceProven experience in leading teams with strong people management skills.Knowledge of the Home Care Sector (e.g., Aged Care, CHSP), including funding, policies, and quality standards.High-level understanding of legislative compliance requirements.Experience in assessment, planning, and evaluation of services for frail older people and their carers.Ability to manage and monitor services within budget.Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and crisis management skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Experience working in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment.Experience in managing or coordinating activity programs for older adults.Why Join Us?Make a difference: Work in a fulfilling role, supporting older adults to live their best lives.Leadership opportunity: Be part of a dynamic and supportive team, driving improvements in aged care services.Ongoing professional development: We offer training and growth opportunities to help you thrive.If you are a motivated, experienced leader with a passion for supporting older adults, we want to hear from you!
