The RoleThis role will be responsible for managing and optimising a large suite of SQL databases across the business. It will be consolidating and optimising the SQL landscape and transitioning to a managed service. This role will also manage the relationship with the Managed Service provider, collaborate with Application Delivery teams, and ensure the successful delivery of Projects.
What You Bring To The RoleThe right person for the role will utilise their expertise to be not only a hands-on senior but to lead the team of DBAs and the transition as they adapt to the business needs with a complex array of SQL Platforms, and a fast-paced company that continually grows organically and by acquisition.
The role will be across the following and experience in these areas include: Extensive experience in Database Administration on different versions of MS SQL and Oracle databases.Extensive experience in migration of applications.Experience with Database replication Master/Slave.Proficient in SQL Language.Experience working on both on-prem and cloud solutions.Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, and MySQL.Strong understanding of SQL database architecture.Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure, and the management of data costs.What's In It For You?The opportunity to be part of a team and business going through massive growth and working with a collaborative and technically solid team.
