Database Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Database Specialist with expertise in SQL scripting and database development within the Microsoft Azure environment. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in scripting languages such as Java or Python. Previous experience in mining or supply chain operations is preferred.
Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain databases in Microsoft Azure.Write efficient SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.Scripting and Automation: Utilize Java or Python to automate routine tasks related to data management.Create scripts for data validation, reporting, and system monitoring.Domain Expertise: Apply knowledge of mining or supply chain processes to enhance database solutions.Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand business requirements.The role is based in Brisbane with WFH flexability.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
