This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) during our foundational stages! HCAU is currently the consulting entity of Hyundai Capital Services Korea within Australia. We're in the process of establishing a subsidiary in Australia to provide captive-finance services to Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's 2nd largest conglomerate focusing on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more.
Hyundai Capital is the financial arm of HMG and the primary goal of its overseas branches is to increase vehicle sales by providing a full spectrum of financial services. We're currently hiring our first-ever Database Administrator to provide an environment for HCAU to offer captive finance in Australia and to ensure customer and dealer satisfaction.
What you'll do: Manage and operate various databases (e.g. Oracle/SQL) and data encryption, overseeing software and resource procurement as needed.Monitor database performance, promptly addressing bottlenecks, slow queries, and other performance-related concerns.Handle user and application database access, delivering query results based on business/application team requirements.Monitor DB and SQL performance, offering tuning guidance to developers, and addressing issues and incidents, escalating to vendors when necessary.Ensure smooth data transfer to the data warehouse system, taking immediate action in case of incidents.Establish a service request process for DB and implement related systems.Identify and proactively resolve issues via monitoring and analysis.Extensive enterprise-wide knowledge in Oracle DB and AWS RDS.Understand and support Data Warehouse systems.Strong skills in DB querying and performance optimisation.Exposure to Java.Expertise in Microsoft Office products and O365.Adept at operating and monitoring DB monitoring solutions.Skilled in creating reports and diagrams.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and deal with ambiguity.Proactive and a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence with tact.What we offer you :) A flexible hybrid working environment.Competitive base salary & bonus structure.Generous parental leave scheme.The opportunity to build the company from the ground up!A fun and collaborative team with great work-life balance.Employee Car Benefit Scheme.HCAU is an equal opportunity employer.
