We are secretive about what we do, not what we value.The opportunityASIO is seeking to fill Data Warehouse / ETL Developer positions in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth locations.A merit pool may be created to fill future vacancies which have the same or similar requirements to this position.
This merit pool will be valid for up to 18 months.Role responsibilitiesAs a Data Warehouse / ETL Developer, you will:Play a key role in unlocking the value of data by managing, transforming, and operationalising it in support of ASIO's mission.Develop and sustain data warehousing and ETL pipelines utilising Enterprise Data Platforms.Manage end-to-end data management processes, using appropriate tools and techniques that conform to agreed process and industry standards.Work in a diverse team environment, sharing outcomes and experience with others to support development and growth.This role sits with the Data Engineering team who support the Enterprise by providing data that is fit-for-purpose, complete, accurate, and consistent for end users.
The team employs contemporary and innovative tools and techniques to automate the ingestion of data into Enterprise Data Platforms.
Part of the role will be ensuring that all development is in line with standard engineering and technical approaches employed by the team, and that risks associated with deployment are adequately understood and documented.What you will bringThe Role Description above provides an overview of the Data Warehouse / ETL Developer function in general.

candidates should be able to demonstrate well-developed Data Engineering skills and experience that meet most of the following criteria whilst
