As the Data Tech Lead, you will provide technical leadership and people management in the Analytics team to support the delivery of scalable and reliable data solutions.
Your key responsibilities are: Document data architecture landscape across the organisationIdentify gaps in architecture framework and work with the Director of Analytics to plan on delivering best practices and upliftDesign a logical proposed data model/data warehouseAutomate pipelines where requiredCo-design data governance framework, architectural principles and guidelines based on agency's requirements – fit for size and purposeDevelop metadata driven ETL frameworkIdentify opportunities of improvement in technical space on data platformAssist and support the establishment and delivery of the organisation's data strategy and work planAbout you: Knowledge of statutory insurances schemes, personal injuries insurance and/or the general insurance sectorA strong track record of delivering timely and meaningful data analysis and insights to a range of audiences in different settingsExperience leading teams on technical fronts and projects using agile methodologyExperience using statistical programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, and SparkUnderstanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques to build predictive models, data analysis, datamarts, data warehousing applications, modern data platforms, cloud, and storage solutionsProven experience working with data management and governance frameworksExperience in building datamarts and data warehousesIf this interests you and your experience and skills align with the responsibilities listed above, please contact:
