Those better outcomes can only exist in the context of people irrespective of if we label them users, customers, patients, clients or even staff.The OpportunityAs a Data Strategist, reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics, you will use your data analysis experience, business acumen and creativity to invent better and deliver effective brand experiences through analysis of big data and customer segmentation, actionable insight, and modelling and use of machine learning/AI. As a member of the Experience Strategy team, you will use a data-driven approach to sharpen decision-making and connect insights with business outcomes and desired goals.What you can bringAnalytics reporting and insights: You will provide regular reporting and impactful insights that draw on more than just the data - you bring in the bigger picture and help the client answer the "so what" factor and create truly actionable insights that you can clearly communicate the reasoning behind and can be put into motion by our team or the clients you support.Analytics maintenance: You will maintain and build new connections where needed for existing dashboards and reports, maintaining the analytics update logs for clients also. Plus, contributing to our analytics service product innovation and documentation, including identifying or leveraging new technologies and techniques to increase efficiency and value of analytics.Customer segmentation: You will be instrumental in leading and delivering customer segmentation and advanced analysis to identify opportunities to inform the clients' customer strategy.Effectiveness culture: Our brand experiences must move people (emotionally) but also move numbers and demonstrate effectiveness. Thus, this function will be responsible for ensuring all projects have clear KPIs, are benchmarked and demonstrate true effectiveness for our clients - increase SoV, leads, share of search, mention, goals completed or sales.Show a strong commitment to the Company's core values of Collaboration, Integrity & Curiosity.Embrace and respect the Company's community and environmental responsibilities.Exceptional communication skills.Proven ability of working within a team.Excellent attention to detail.More specifically:Demonstrated use of best-practice customer analytics approaches covering exploratory analysis, feature engineering and selection, and interpretation and deep analytics.Well versed in digital analytics platforms including Google and Adobe Analytics and a thorough understanding of the digital ecosystem.Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, R etc.Demonstrated commercial acumen and understanding of the business environment, and the challenges to be solved.A passion for delivering the best possible outcomes for our team and our client.A solutions mindset, able to think critically and able to consider and respond at pace.An ability to work effectively with a wide set of stakeholders with solid communication skills.Proactively identify patterns or trends in the business and anticipate potential problems; and work with wider teams to develop preventative measures.Leads and manages the data engineers to collaborate and devise performance measure frameworks and incorporate learnings into documentation and briefs.Work with data engineers to continuously innovate, automate existing manual processes and seek out new opportunities.Why Orchard?We offer an awesome, fun working environment full of culture and energy.
