As our Data Specialist, you'll lead the enhancement of STT's data maturity by focusing on robust architecture, comprehensive governance, data transformation and analysis.
The Data Specialist will drive initiatives to optimize data structures and gathering processes, enforce data governance policies, and deliver actionable insights that empower informed decision-making throughout the organisation.
About you
Applicants with the appropriate combination of the following are invited to apply:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field Proven experience in data cataloguing tools (e.g.
Microsoft Purview), data engineering, data analysis, and data visualization Strong proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes (e.g.
SSMS) Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality best practices Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills The Position Description outlines the responsibilities and expectations of the role considered key to success.
